100th Day of School

On February 4th we will celebrate our 100th day of school!!!
Our math groups will focus on activities dealing with 100.

My students will be rotating between these centers:

Flip a coin 100 times and record head/tails
- created sheet

Make trains of 100 cubes- unifix cubes

Roll a dice until the total is 100-there is a sheet that I got from a blog I follow

Make as many coin combinations as possible to equal a dollar use stamps

Use sheet with counting by 2,4,5,10 etc. I will post a photo of this so you can make your own.

I have several books I plan to read to my students too :)

We will be weighing our 100th day snack as well. We will be completing a 100th day booklet. It is still down at the copy center- I hope it makes it back in time.

I also have a sheet that you attach a roll of Smarties to that says I am 100 days smarter. I will be giving that to my students along with those in my math group.

I will also be hiding 100 Hershey's Kisses.  I used garage sale dots on the bottom- I am thinking of putting them under the ELMO- but will it melt is the pressing question!?!?!?!?!? I want them to see the progress. Oh the dilemma

I have a packet of about 30 things/pages to do. Such as:
*draw a picture using 100 circles/triangles/squares
*do 100 jumping jacks
*write your name over and over again on a 100's chart
