Father's, Fireworks & Fun!

and got to work!

We used the guy and a shirt of our choice for our Father's Day Cards:

For 4th of July, we are doing tie-dye shirts so I wanted to try two different techniques on paper!

The first way we tried was just coloring the paper with markers. Then getting it wet.
The second way we tried was to wet the paper and then draw.

Finally we added a balloon and and I used his hair as the fireworks!!
Everyone will enjoy using the black paper because we finally get to use our white crayons!!!!!

I think it made a pretty cute tie-dye pattern... even on our plate lol
You can barely see the wet paper one with the tie-dye,
but my fingers look like the left over teal lol

I am honored to be apart of the Laura Kelly Design Team.

But I was thinking of how we could use them during the school year.

*If you have classroom helpers in your room, you could have them decorate their own person.

*Name tags on their lockers or cubbies.

*When you're talking about famous people to make them!

I wonder how they would dress them! What about George Washington's hair!

*They could decorate one and then add a real photo to their face.

*How super simple would it be to turn this into a flannel board book or set?!?!?

There are so many ideas out there.  This is such a versatile set and the possibilities are endless!

As a Laura Kelly Design Team member, I was given the tools to make this and many more products. Every idea posted and created to be showcased here are all my own.

Kinderpond heads to Target

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!

Finally adding new things.  I am most excited about the dice.
My friends all have them.
My co-teacher has one.
I have none.
Yeah, ummm...I am an only child and an only grandchild.
I always get what I want.
We have very few only children in my school, so pouting and temper tantrums.
don't work on me, like at all because I have more experience and practice. ;)
So me not finding these dice are no good for this spoiled brat lol

I did however find the bowling set and the ring toss.
The bubble set.

The felt World and USA map along with the alphabet pockets, tic tac toe boards, and ocean boards.

We love the grow capsules.
I need to find something to do with them... thoughts?
oh and the slime of course lol

I recently started watching The Purple Alphabet on YouTube.
I am all about purple and she does Target and Dollar Tree Hauls, why would I not?!?!?!

Anyways, she make Restaurant Busy Kits.
So I have added these to my small 31 bag.

These are going in there too!

both of which the Jumbo Sticker Pad covers.
The 50 States book for the felt mat.
More slime and that rocket??
Apparently my 4 year old needed that lol

Grabbed stuff for next year.
I still have to think of something to do with those erasers... ideas?

More new summer stuff
(different trip)

Ocean erasers
Paint your own bug tic tac toe
Erasers: ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, donuts
Summer note pad
Fossil excavation kit.
Solar System, Shark and Dino books

Morning Bins: May

Love this one!!!!
Easily be done with cubes, mini erasers
use smaller cups or larger ones

Change the counter and it's a whole new center.
Add another dice and work on adding.

I do wonder how long they would have worked to fill that!!!

I got these at Dollar Tree.
Provided: paper squares and different colored pens.
