Gingerbread Shake Up
I usually use this in small groups.
You glue the label on an egg carton.
I put labels on the inside of things we need to work on.
Ex. in one group, we may be still working on letter identification, I would use garage sale dots with letters on them. Add a gingerbread eraser or pom pom.
Close the egg carton.
Shake.
Open and read the spot where the counter landed.
Repeat as necessary.
Another group, we are reviewing sight words. I write a sight word on a label.
Repeat same procedure.
You can use these for almost anything. The kids love them.
Use for math or reviewing any topic.
You could do a bigger egg carton too for a whole class activity for a quick filler.
