We followed what the facts told us.
With the K-2 children I asked them to draw a picture.

Oh I think I have forgotten how we get the facts!!!

Well I printed a copy of pages from Deanna's unit,

cut the facts apart and

placed in a cup.

I couldn't find a dino bag so a plain old cup was all I had. :(

Today we learned all about the Triceratops.

Dino Days- Day 1

Day 1

I have never taught about dinosaurs, so we are all in for a treat!
We began our unit with a Dino schema chart. K-2 on the chart, 3-5 in their science logs.

Then we guessed what our dino-pills were going to be.

While the children guessed and recorded their answers, our pills were soaking.
I enlarged the back and the children picked what two they thought we got.
I have 6 different classes, so each class was given two capsules and they guessed.
