Symmetry

We were working on symmetry in math groups. We have been doing "paper and pencil" activities with lines of symmetry. So I kicked it up a notch and gave them scrap paper to create their own designs.

I thought that this looked like a sting ray. My students didn't because they don't know about them lol

If you look sideways, I think they look like elf pants with shoes lol

3D symmetry

We combined symmetry with our 3D shapes.
