Color frogs Laura Kelly Style

Using my ultra-fabulous frog die from the talented Laura Kelly Designs, I bring you

Color Frogs!

This literally took me less than 5 minutes from start to finish.
If I had to print out the sentences and then cut them out... this is
Super quick- it's what we all need!

Look everyone!!!  You can finally use that white crayon!
I am stoked about this!!!!

I was thinking that you could keep them together OR
have the color word separate.

For the first time, I might have the color frog over the top of the color word.

As a Laura Kelly Design Team member, I was given the tools to make this and many more products. Every idea posted and created to be showcased here are all my own.

Shark Week Kinderpond Style

Shark Week is coming and we will be ready for it!!!!!

Then I used  this this awesome shark die cut to make this pocket chart.

______________ shark, _______________ shark

Is ______________ hiding behind you?

I wrote the color words twice.
The third blank is for a child's name.
I was thinking about using those little sticky photos we get of our class to hide behind the sharks.

I am making a print rich environment, my 4 year old can't read... yet!

(side note- I have a pocket chart at home... but no stand lol)

If I had the whole set of ocean die cuts, I would cut out colors for all the animals.
BUT... since I *might* have 6 pocket charts in my room... I need to fill the other ones up.
SO!!!!  I will add:

* letters or

* shapes or

* numbers (math problems)

*sight words

One pocket chart would have just all of the animals for them to hide behind.
Because who wouldn't want to play with ocean animals??

I can't wait for Shark Week on TV and will be doing Shark Week in Kinderpond Jr Tot School.
oh I just made some brand new ocean/summer things that I can't wait to share with you!!!

Father's, Fireworks & Fun!

and got to work!

We used the guy and a shirt of our choice for our Father's Day Cards:

For 4th of July, we are doing tie-dye shirts so I wanted to try two different techniques on paper!

The first way we tried was just coloring the paper with markers. Then getting it wet.
The second way we tried was to wet the paper and then draw.

Finally we added a balloon and and I used his hair as the fireworks!!
Everyone will enjoy using the black paper because we finally get to use our white crayons!!!!!

I think it made a pretty cute tie-dye pattern... even on our plate lol
You can barely see the wet paper one with the tie-dye,
but my fingers look like the left over teal lol

I am honored to be apart of the Laura Kelly Design Team.

But I was thinking of how we could use them during the school year.

*If you have classroom helpers in your room, you could have them decorate their own person.

*Name tags on their lockers or cubbies.

*When you're talking about famous people to make them!

I wonder how they would dress them! What about George Washington's hair!

*They could decorate one and then add a real photo to their face.

*How super simple would it be to turn this into a flannel board book or set?!?!?

There are so many ideas out there.  This is such a versatile set and the possibilities are endless!

Mother's Day

I am honored and privileged to be part of the Laura Kelly Design Team this year.

I got this super cute hot chocolate set. Perfect for the winter months.

However, it is "spring" here... and we may or may not get snow again lol

But!!!!   Check out what I did to change it up for mother's day!!!

I am planning on having the kids decorate the cups and then glue them to some cards.

I *must* remember to 'train the troops' and only have them glue around the outside so that the flowers can be removed and...

See I wrote things on the stems of the flowers???

I would brainstorm with my class as to what we could write.

The non-writers will love it, because they don't have to write complete sentences lol

I really love these heart flowers and my students will do a much better job with designing their flowers and making them perfect for their moms.

Check back in May for photos of their finished products!

**As part of the Laura Kelly Design team, I was given a machine and the die cuts**
I however, without the use of Pinterest, came up with the ideas all on my own ;)
