I saw a video where a teacher painted the back of the letters, so the 

children knew which was the correct size!  Brilliant :)

 I hoped these would be like Math Stackers, but they aren't. 

The 10 is maybe 5 inches tall.

Numbers, shapes, and letters... oh my!

Someone is always trying to remember what the letter is,

this way, I can look back and so can you!

This is a semi-strong plastic waterwheel.

Y'all I have no idea... this is a total FOMO!

Made it Monday: Shapes

We just finished our shapes unit.

Here are the shape poems HERE.

I put the shape of the day card and the tracing shape 

along with stickers all in the poem pocket.

I use the stickers during journals.

On this day, I taught them how to draw two circles that are touching 

sort of like **, and add a V at the bottom. BAM! it's a heart!!

I have been saving my oatmeal container lids forever lol

for this specific project!

I still need to write the names on the shape stencils.

It was pretty simple.

I drew the shapes with a Sharpie. 

Then cut them out with a knife.

Are they perfect? Nope, will the kids still love them? YES!!!

 

Target Run #2 (yeah right)

Let's just go with this as my second trip lol I am making up for lost time. I didn't go in a Target in March, April, or May. June and July are another story.

You text your friend this as she's on a road trip!
The girl says "Oh I will pick those up when we get back."




They had rainbow and crayon journals.
Glad that I grabbed them when I did
because when I went back for trip #3,
the shelf was bare!



Here were the balance games.
The narwhal and dino were the only two new ones.

if you look closely, there is a red magnet wand attached that

moves the spheres to where they need to go.
