Catch that Monster Game and two sizes of bags
Here's showing the difference in sizes.
Here's the inside of the Monster game.
Grabbing what I have at home:
Magic Bracelets
When I get back into my classroom.
My goal is to just be able to grab and go
for small groups.
My first couple of small groups are for supplies I need to teach
right away at the beginning of the year.
I try to use old stuff (sometimes or mine)
to have them practice.
So when I teach crayons, I grab my old ones from the art center.
We practice with them first. When they are secure with the old ones,
they get Pip certified and I put their new crayons in their pencil boxes.
My laptop is damaged, so I don't have all my goodies to share. :(
The amount of school supplies I teach depends on how many
days we have our first week of school. I teach four days
per week and have Fridays to prep.
I love this schedule!!
When I have my students trace their
name each day. I have a sheet that I fold
to cover their name, so I have a baseline.
I would like to see how they write their
names. We use old pencils the first week
because I haven't taught them how
to use them and what we use them for.
One of our first small groups
is on dry erase markers.
When we come back the following week,
they will be tracing their names
using dry erase markers,
so I need to teach them
how to use them my way :)
This year, I will pull out my
supply zipper bag and have the supplies
I need for that. That will also include
the Pip the Pup book,
a badge they can earn when they are secure with that supply
the school supply we are talking about.
This won't work for play dough because the containers won't fit.
Everything else will though, the book, award badges/ribbons,
play dough cards. Read about our
So I guess this will be a series of what's in the zipper pouch lol
This will help in my accountability as well!
So look forward to that in the coming days :)
Hoppy Teaching!
