Dollar Tree Trip January Edition

 So I picked up these board games- they are very thin boxes.

Check over here for what I did with the ice cube trays.

Here are some felt hearts- they will stick nicely to my flannel board.

The cupcakes can go with the Pete the Cat book with cupcakes.

Way on the left, are three packs of dry erase erasers- 

I think they are make-up removers lol

I nice-sized book of stickers.

They had a space book too, but it wasn't more than aliens lol

Also in there were candles for our birthday sensory bin :)

I also got some cute scissors and a purple camera frame too!

so my local zoo was The National Zoo!

Ling Ling and Sing Sing were residents there :)

my class' love of Pip the Pup or a pet study!

There were some other doctor stuff but these looked the best!

The teeth and the toothbrush look sturdy.

Here were some Gnomes that I will turn into pointers.

Here are some Pop-Its. 

Even some fun and different ones.

Some for basic fidget-ing and some for morning work- placing smaller pom-poms in the spots.

Made it Monday

Apparently, my brain is going backwards- I had the watermelon on the left and swapped it  lol

Anyways I bought three pencil sharpeners.

They are sort of bendable. I cut off the sharpener from the backs.

 

I hot glued chopsticks on the back!

Ta-da!!!!!!!!

Made it Monday: Shapes

We just finished our shapes unit.

Here are the shape poems HERE.

I put the shape of the day card and the tracing shape 

along with stickers all in the poem pocket.

I use the stickers during journals.

On this day, I taught them how to draw two circles that are touching 

sort of like **, and add a V at the bottom. BAM! it's a heart!!

I have been saving my oatmeal container lids forever lol

for this specific project!

I still need to write the names on the shape stencils.

It was pretty simple.

I drew the shapes with a Sharpie. 

Then cut them out with a knife.

Are they perfect? Nope, will the kids still love them? YES!!!
