Wanted to share a geoboard tip. We love geoboards in our classroom, but the rubberbands were such a problem. I live in a really dry climate and the rubberbands would dry out and then snap the user or their poor neighbor. Our solution: we started using the nylon bands that kids can use to crochet pot holders. They work wonderfully and come in so many colors!
I love using geoboards, too. I think one of the neatest things about them is that they appeal to all Kinders regardless of developmental level. That kinesthetic learning just can't be beat!
