Kinderpond shops: Dollar Tree Edition

I hopped over to Dollar Tree again!

Here are building block containers:

I am hoping to find more Colors of the World crayons.

I am hoping to find one for each of my students.

They were on display with a coloring book- in the same display.

I will let you know about those fun crayons. 

I love sharks, I am not sure it will make it to school. ;(

I thought the green one was a dino? yes but they all have fish tales for the zipper pulls.

I bought the mini chalkboards for signs in my room.

I had a co-teacher last year, so I bought an extra just in case we 

work  together again :)

I grabbed this table scatter for sensory bottles.

The top ones are foam and the bottom ones

are metalic.

Jumbo-ish cards.

I laid the frog one down for comparison. 

More pen pointers

I like to have options :)

More scented pens and markers.

I have used smelly markers/pens forever!

Kids like them no matter if you're 4 or in 5th grade :)

Yes they are sharpeners-

add a dowel and they become pointers!

I had the pink tiara so I added a yellow one

for birthday celebrations :)

Here are more squishy toys for the calm-down area.

Each month, we get new ones added, and the old

ones are put away.  We practice as a class before they go 

into the calm-down area.

These are GIANT ice cream cone cups. 

The blue cup is for comparison.

Do you have a magnet center in your room?

I used to use the back of my question of the day board,

but over the years, the kids have gotten rougher and knock

over the stars on the other side.

I am going to put the magnet center in my reading loft.

There are two other sets that I am still on the hunt for!

Color books of stickers 

This is a magnet container great for our pond unit. 

Shark magnet container perfect for the ocean unit.

Letters and numbers

I use these the first few weeks of school,

either in morning bins or centers.

I just bought two packs, 

just showing the back and front.

Here are some cool crayons.

Maybe put them in the writing center.

 but we do insects at the end of the year,

and the caterpillar only goes up to 10.
