Summer School Day 12
Today we added Voracious Reading to expand our vocabulary.
There are now actually TWO voracious reading headings on our board.
Fluency- read the same thing over and over again such as a play.
Expand Vocab- reading all different types of material.

Summer School
Dear Parents~
When looking at your child's timed math tests, there are lines or boxes ect. marking what your child did in the two minutes. After the time is up, I try to draw lines around what they finished. It gets a little crazy when they skip around. :) Then I ask them to complete the rest of the problems. :)
Summer School Day 11
Use word parts to determine the meaning of words.
Skip the word, then come back.

Today we listened to Katalina Matalina so we could "Make a Picture or Mental Image"

Use Beginning and Ending Sounds to figure out unknown words.
Voracious reading= better reader
